The Smithville Area Fire Protection District is accepting applications to fill the first 3 of 12 new Firefighter-EMT positions. These are full-time positions; personnel are assigned to a 48 hours on/96 hours off schedule. District benefits include health insurance, vision and dental insurance, Lagers retirement, paid vacation and sick leave, and a monthly educational stipend. Starting pay is $34,334.08 annual including FLSA pay.
